It&#8217;s usually safe from freezing, but this year has been a little different.  When I first heard that it was supposed to snow on Monday, I really wasn&#8217;t worried as it had been so warm. As Mr. Dog did not like this, we took our walk inside the giant hardware store and then went out to dinner (he is a Labrador, so of course he loves to eat).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"790\" height=\"1024\" src=\"https:\/\/flytippings.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/snow18-790x1024.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-3576\" srcset=\"https:\/\/flytippings.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/snow18-790x1024.jpg 790w, https:\/\/flytippings.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/snow18-231x300.jpg 231w, https:\/\/flytippings.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/snow18-768x996.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 790px) 100vw, 790px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But after the sun went down, the snow kept falling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"768\" height=\"1024\" src=\"https:\/\/flytippings.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/storm12-768x1024.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-3577\" srcset=\"https:\/\/flytippings.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/storm12-768x1024.jpg 768w, https:\/\/flytippings.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/storm12-225x300.jpg 225w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 768px) 100vw, 768px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And it didn&#8217;t stop until all the trees were bent over under the weight of snow. I got out my trusty bow saw and quickly cleared up these branches so that I could get my car out of the garage.   Unfortunately, the plum tree in front of the house looked to be a total loss, the main trunk had snapped.   As I looked closer, I noticed that one branch was spared.   I had thought about trimming this off, but had been too lazy to do this.
